It's hard to judge how strong a crate will be by a picture online. We took a risk in buying this one... and were pleasently surprised. We previously had a similar crate (another brand) but it wasn't very sturdy. This one is pretty study: it does not tilt or lean when pushed. The outer fabric is taught thanks to the inner structure, so it doesn't sag. When you receive the large box (maybe 2 ft x 3 ft), you assemble the crate by pulling together two tubes one each side of the top. They meet in the middle and slide under a lock. This was a little challenging (it took a few minutes each side) because there's not a lot of wiggle room inside the fabric. But in the end, it was reassuring because it made the whole crate much sturdier. Our dog is around 25 lbs and she used to sit on top of the old crate (it was amusing really to see her sitting on top of it), but this new crate is a little taller and so she can't jump on top of it. The front and side zippers close easily. We don't travel with the crate, so we don't use the "transport bag", which is a little large and cumbersome. So if you're looking for something that collapses very small and compact, this might not be the crate for you. But, if you want something sturdy to keep at home, this one is pretty good. If by chance our doggie destroys this one (unlikely since she's a lot calmer now), we would by the same one again. And, oh yeah, the price was just right.
I have 2 Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs and being large dogs they need large crates. We have 42" crates, but trying to fit 2 of them side by side in the back of our truck is not easy. I bought 2 of these 36" ones hoping they would fit and they do.
I love the color! I also like having 2 doors on them and also the attached storage bag. Now our dogs ride around safely in the truck.
I would recommend this crate.
