My 7 year old miniature poodle has always slept in the bed with me. However, all things must come to an end. I like my bed and it's really not appropriate for him to be sleeping on the bed. He also got in the habit of waking up in the middle of the night, going to the living room and peeing in one spot even though he is house trained and pees on a pad somewhere else.
This way, I wake up and the first thing I do is have coffee...not clean up pee.
It's a perfect sized crate for a typical nyc sized bedroom 300sqft.
I put a little dog ped in there and a nice blanket, some toys and viola!
I also bought one for my mom's house when he's visiting grandma.

I actually have two of this brand of wire crate. I have two small dogs that I put in the crate together using the divider that comes with it to separate them. Because I use this crate for two dogs, it would be better if the door was on the long side or else if it had two doors like my little bit larger crate has. This crate cleans up easily and it is fairly light weight so that I can use it in my car or my camp trailer or where ever I need it.
