The crate was exactly what I wanted and needed. I have two mini dachshund puppies. I put the divider in the middle and use the side door which gives me two smaller areas for crate training. They immediately took to the new home. During the night or when we're away we separate them, but otherwise leave the door open and they'll either go to their own side or often cuddle together. I understand the concerns others have posted, but for out purposes it's perfect.

This crate is easy to assemble and sturdy enough for my 14lb chihuahua mix. The "deluxe" metal tray however leaves much to be desired. The bottom sheet bows up in the center, so every time my dog walks on it, it makes a loud warping noise that scares her. I'll need to buy a plastic replacement tray.
