I can't believe all the negative reviews! I love this carrier. I had NO trouble putting it together. If you put the sides in backwards, they don't really fit, but if you turn them around the whole thing goes together very quickly and easily! I have taken it apart to clean it and put it back together several times with no difficulty. I've had this crate for about a year and half and I still love it. I have a chihuahua who weighs about 4 pounds and he fits with room to spare. He loves to chew and has chewed on the door a little, but he would probably be able to do that with any crate. I really love the open sides and it looks so much nicer than other crates. I would definitely buy again and will likely do so in about a year when I replace my current one.

I had already purchased the smaller Suncast 19-Inch Pet Carrier Round for my yorkie puppy, but now that she is grown, she needed a little more space. The 23-inch crate arrived today FULLY ASSEMBLED, as did the 19-inch that I bought 4 months ago. I guess there were too many complaints about difficult assembly! Unlike other carriers, the back is curved out giving a more open feel. I like that feature because it makes it easy for my dog to see out (she is very nosy), yet it is still covered enough to feel den-like. Plus it just look cuter than other crates! The door opens and closes easily (my 5-year old can operate it) and it seems sturdy to me. It also comes with letter stickers to personalize with your pet's name. I am very happy with this purchase!
